Site Engineer

Exp: Must have 5 years of similar role experience

Requirement:

- Design and supervise the installation of cable support and earthing systems.
- Direct and oversee cable laying, jointing, and termination activities.
- Conduct cable route surveys and finalize routes, including those through tunnels.
- Prepare and submit route survey reports detailing soil conditions, existing services, and water table levels (if available).
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials at the work site.
- Submit materials for client/consultant approval.
- Conduct testing of 220kV, 132kV, 33kV, 11kV, and pilot cables.
- Coordinate the receipt and delivery of cables, joints, sealing ends, and link boxes.
- Prepare RFIs and obtain on-site material approvals from consultants/clients.
- Prepare setting-out details for horizontal directional drilling and open-cut road crossings.
- Supervise and install cable management systems in utility tunnels.
- Obtain all necessary clearances and permits from clients and consultants.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities to secure NOCs before starting site activities.
- Communicate and coordinate with the main contractor and consultant.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work programs and progress reports.
- Generate invoices based on the Bill of Quantities.
- Verify subcontractor measurement sheets and invoices.
- Ensure safety compliance at the work site.
- Monitor and enforce relevant systems and procedures on-site.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Authorized to take disciplinary action in consultation with the Site Manager.
- Accountable for site safety.

Experience and Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Power/Civil Engineering or
- Technical Diploma (3-year course) in a relevant engineering field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing EPC projects on a turnkey basis.
